Your daily tasks & responsibilities
  • Work in accordance with applicable procedure as per Design Organisation Exposition (DO-Handbook), Production Organisation Exposition (PO-Handbook), Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and other AMAC Specifications.
  • Ensure correct consideration and application of Certification Basis, Rules and Regulations, Means of Compliance and Interpretations in the engineering output for the product, system or installation designed.
  • Ensure adequate communication and liaison internally, especially with the Engineering Team, Project management as well as with external Third Parties.
  • Act as Mechanical Production Engineer – Work Preparation Group.
  • Design and engineering within the scope of work of the Design Organisation.
  • Production work preparation and support (example: implementation of PCR production change request).
  • Processing and administration of engineering manufacturing data (WO in AMOS, Engineering tracking tool update, archiving of WO and Manufacturing tracing tag).
  • Administration and interface of material information (Materials ordering, Standard Parts, Quantity management) and ordering interface to the logistics department.
  • Supporting the Mechanical Production Engineering Manager in administrative and organizational tasks.
  • Engineering liaison and support.
  • Production liaison and support.
  • Checking, processing and administration of engineering manufacturing data (drawings and Engineering Change Order.
  • Follow up of Workpackage / WOs closure (issuance of EASA form 1, statement of conformity).
  • Production Project plan hours.
The expertise you have & skills you bring 
  • Profound understanding of production planning and preparation.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience within a production environment preferably within aviation.
  • Aviation / Engineering degree or similar qualification in addition will be an advantage.
  • Computer literate with MS Office software (Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Experience with an ERP system, preferably AMOS.
  • Good communication skills in English; German or French in addition will be an advantage.
  • Pro-active team player with an project oriented functioning.
  • Dedicated to quality, reliability, safety with a positive mindset.
